Meet our family

Meet Dr. April Morford

Dr. April believes in healing from within, the body will heal itself - if it is allowed to do so and if it is supported. Dr. April's education has evolved from medical treatments to natural remedies. As a child Dr. April suffered from allergies and asthma, for which she was often hospitalized and always on medications. "I always dreamed of finding a cure for asthma."
Now, Dr. April knows that the best "cure" is to give the body what it needs. "I did not have allergies and asthma because I was lacking medication. I had them because something in my body wasn't functioning properly."
At Texas A&M, Dr. April began to learn how to eat and exercise for optimum health. Upon graduation she became a personal trainer and completed her first marathon. She no longer needed daily medication and realized that the "better I feed my body, the better my body takes care of me".
Her calling to help people heal moved from medicine to natural cures. At Parker College of Chiropractic, her education continued to bloom. By the time she graduated, she no longer had asthma and allergy problems. "I was treated weekly in chiropractic college, began to eat healthier foods, thinking more positively, doing daily intentional breathing and exercising. This gives me optimal health."
