Symptoms of Notenoughness include feeling the following:
1. I'm not good enough
2. I'm not smart enough
3. I don't have enough money
4. I don't have enough time
5. I don't have enough friends
6. There's not enough resources, people, self-esteem, love, peace, gratitude, etc.
It seems to be this is a true epidemic...probably spreading worldwide to become a pandemic. In the midst of highly charged debates about vaccines, GMOs, Ebola outbreaks, terrorist actions and so on, we generally all have one overwhelming feeling sweep us away....we don't have enough power to change it.
There's only one cure for this poorly understood yet scarily common condition....Love. Seems too easy, right? Well, that's kind of the point. People are smart, some super smart. And despite that we still have the plethora of worries that surround us today. If thinking could solve it, we'd all be happy, healthy, and filthy rich. So stop thinking and start feeling. Feel for those suffering. Feel for those who make you laugh. Feel for those who hold you in their arms and who you are blessed to hold.
Dr. Dean Ornisch has said that love is the true cure-all. Not food, not medicine, not exercise, not surgery, not some new famous potion. None of those can change the body as well, and as fast, as love.
Can you feel love right now? If you imagine someone you love deeply does this warm glow flow your chest and shoulders? What if we carried that around to everyone, everyday, and worked to share that in every way? I believe we could instantly eradicate this insidious disease I call Not-enough-ness.
