Drinking enough water is actually pretty easy when we set our minds to it. Having a class or bottle near you at home or at work where it stays in your awareness is all it really takes. Then all you have to do is consider taking a sip. For me that usually leads to taking a gulp or two, or maybe five. The point is, I get my water in.
This time of year is typically easier to drink lots of water. It's warm and we appreciate the coolness and refreshment. That makes summer a great time to get in the habit of drinking lots of water that you can carry over into the winter months.
To begin with don't worry about how much you are taking in. The easiest way to evaluate your hydration level is if your urine is clear or lightly straw colored. At first you'll have to go to the bathroom ALL the time so you'll see this often. But the body works like a sponge: when it's dry water goes through it, but once it's wet it absorbs more water.
Simple enough? Get to it!
